Article about my country in the english speaking press

Mutu back from drug ban to hit heights for Romania. Adrian Mutu, (footballer) was born on January 1979 in Calinesti, Romania. He is known as one of the most famous Romanian football players. In august 2003, Mutu joined Chelsea Fc, for 15.8 million pounds from Ac Parma and he became the most expensive Romanian player. This article shows the effects and changes of Mutu's life after he failed to a drug test for cocaine.

In September 2004, he failed an antidopping test and he was suspended to not play for 7 months. The Football club Chelsea broke the contract that they had with him after they found out about his result from antidopping test. Therefore, Mutu became a free player. After a couple of months, Mutu was taken for free by the famous italian club from Seria A(first italian league for football) , Juventus Torrino. Basically, he returned in the country where he became famous. He played for many teams from Seria, such as : Internationalle Milan, Ac Parma, Hellas Verona. His team Juventus Torrino, helped him to come back from the bad situation that he was in. Nowdays, he plays for Ac Fiorentina, a team from Seria A and he was designated the best player in Seria A last season. This year, 2008 , he scored 23 goals in35 matches in Seria A and European games. Mutu, was without doubt the player that helped Fiorentina to qualify in the next season in Uefa Champions League. He also helped a lot the national team, Romania to qualify to Euro 2008 that is held in Switzerland.

In Addition, it is clear that Mutu have changed a lot and he learned from the mistake that he did in the past and he became a different athlete.

The effects of globalization on my life..

Globalization refers in general to the worldwide integration of humanity and the compression of both the temporal and spatial dimensions of planet wide , human interaction. This chapter refers to the impact of Globalization on Managerial Learning in Romania.

For more than forty years, Romania lived under an autocracy, with severe discipline and a largely rural culture. The man agreement system was centralised and poorly adapted to economic reforms. The overthrow of Nicolae Ceausescu's (photos) regime in December 1989 marked the begging of a new era of globalisation in Romania.

This chapter examines the critical learning experiences that enabled owner-managers of small private companies in Romania to lead successfully in the transition to a global, free-market economy in order to determine what triggered their learning, what strategies they used, and what lessons they learned.

This chapter reports the findings related to globalization and influence on managers learning and the implications for developing human sources in Romania.
